Mark has worked in the insurance industry since 2017. He's worked for all of Australia’s major insurers as well as many international clients. His speciality is managing complex claims, across all industry sectors.
Mark previously served as the NSW team leader and then national head of forensic accounting at loss adjuster firms. Today, he's tasked with growing Technical Assessing's forensic accounting practice.
Before joining the insurance industry, Mark worked in accounting, spending time in auditing, corporate finance and restructuring, eventually becoming director in a big four firm.
Mark gained a tremendous breadth of experience – in particular undertaking large, complex investigations and analysis, often in support of legal proceedings – which has given him the ability to adapt to a wide variety of insurance claims.
I love working for Technical Assessing because of the friendly, collegiate atmosphere. Everyone is so welcoming and supportive.
My favourite leisure activity is learning. Every day is a school day, as far as I’m concerned! I have a particular passion for studying history.
My favourite place to visit is Hadrian’s Wall, in northern England. In 2015, I walked the entire 135km, from coast to coast. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life.
